HACKETT HILL FIRE STATION
Manchester, NH
This 10,300 SF substation has 3 apparatus bays supported by bunkrooms and living areas that meet current facility standards for physical and fire science development of personnel. The shell is a highly insulated concrete form structure with a high performance envelope. Heating and cooling loads are significantly lower than similar facilities due to the continuous insulation envelope and melding of systems and assemblies to meet sustainable/low energy design and cost targets. The exterior assemblies are low maintenance, combining a brick veneer below metal sandwich panel siding.
